We are Patrick King and Johan King Silverhult - the founders of Salon K.

 

We have always been attracted to the different and alternative.

All our choices, both professionally and privately, have been guided by the questions:

What kind of life do we want to live?

How can we experience the full spectrum of being human?

 

Professionally, our formation is in classical ballet. The art itself was where our passion and talent could live and flourish, but the traditional structures around it was limiting for the creative expression. So we created our own ways. 

 

This has led us to have a very rich life, constantly bringing us into new arenas normally not tread by dancers and creators. From performing with the world’s leading ballet and dance companies, working with the acclaimed choreographers of our era and performing on all continents, to create and perform for Cirque du Soleil, opera and theatre, events and fashion, Venice Film Festival, science and technology conventions, creating performative experiences in a castle for the Queen of Norway and coaching service staff at hotels and resorts how to expand their humanity to provide an extraordinary guest experience.

 

It has been a roller-coaster of a life, experiencing a full spectrum of the ups and downs, twists and turns, sensations and emotions of this magical existence that is human life.
